Our GTX Series subwoofers are rated at 250-1000 watts RMS / 500-2000 watts MAX power with a 1.5-2.5" voice coil configured for dual 2/4 ohm impedance. All GTX subs use tight Red stitching that’s sewn through a UV treated non-pressed paper cone onto a EROM foam surround. Then it’s bonded to a heavy gauge steel basket that’s bolted to double stacked high flux Y30 70-150oz Strontium ferrite magnets with a 10mm top plate. Then everything dances on a springy poly cotton spider with high powered woven tinsel leads that connect to spring loaded 5-way binding nickel plated speaker connectors. These woofers scream sound quality and truly represent Massive Audio's commitment to value and performance.

What is the height if the subwoofer?
All we have published in the manual is the mounting depth which is 6.69"
Ok ive got a single 12 massive gtx122 and its in 2003 f150 super crew xlt all is well but im being forced to get new box for under my seat whats better sealed enclosure or ported any help plz
Please contact our tech support at massiveexpert@yahoo.com. Thank you and stay safe.
I have already built a ported box that is 15"x15"x17", will this affect the performance?
15 x 15 x 17 external using 3/4 MDF
approximately 1.5ft3 after port+sub displacment
it would work, whoever I recommend bigger box for better performance. in the range of 2.5 ft3 and 44Hz tuning
Would it be recommended to use the GTX 122 in a bandpass enclosure? If so, what would be the best specs for that enclosure.
Bandpass boxes are ideal for certian systems although not always suggested no matter what subwoofer. However due to the numerus variables we do not offer bandpass specifications. this would have to be done by an installer than can measure your cab and set the tuning based on your preferred music. You can email us at support@massiveaudio.com for specific questions and we will do our best to answer what we can responsibly.
Would you have any speaker recommendations for a 1997 F350 CrewCab? I have a new receiver that's great now I really need some good sound. What I have isn't bad but it needs something better. Thank you for your time and help.
Entry priced: MX 5x7/6x8

can I use the GTX122 - DUAL 2 OHM SUBWOOFER in a 1997 F350 crew cab?
You can use this subwoofer in any system but it requires a box so the space needed would be your only unknown. We have different suggested box sizes in the manuals that you can view on this page.
This comes with 2 speakers or just one?
Single Subwoofer
