Our GTX Series subwoofers are rated at 250-1000 watts RMS / 500-2000 watts MAX power with a 1.5-2.5" voice coil configured for dual 2/4 ohm impedance. All GTX subs use tight Red stitching that’s sewn through a UV treated non-pressed paper cone onto a EROM foam surround. Then it’s bonded to a heavy gauge steel basket that’s bolted to double stacked high flux Y30 70-150oz Strontium ferrite magnets with a 10mm top plate. Then everything dances on a springy poly cotton spider with high powered woven tinsel leads that connect to spring loaded 5-way binding nickel plated speaker connectors. These woofers scream sound quality and truly represent Massive Audio's commitment to value and performance.

Ask a Question
  • will these work in a ported 2.2 cubic box? this is the box iam thinking about using Qpower QBOMB12V??

Yes this will work great in a 2.2ft3 box. You can see more detailed specifications in the user guide found on the MANUALS tab.

  • What is the proper break in procedure for this sub?

Keep your volume low and use music with low frequency to work the cone up and down as much as possible for 3-6 hours.

  • what kind of amp including wattage do i need to power 2 of the 12 inch subs? Also can i run my door speakers on the same amp?

    The E3, D2400, BL3, would all be great choices for 2 x GTX124 subwoofers.

  • I have 4 12s gtx124 how do i hook them up to 1ohm stable amp to get the best out of them

You would not be able to wire 4 of the GTX124 to a  1 ohm  load. You would need 4 x GTX 122 subwoofers for a final  1 ohm  load (connect all POSITIVES and NEGATIVES together)

  • i have 2 12" dvc gtx 124's putting in a ported box. what size wire should i use to connect my subs from box to amp (1 channel-1 ohm stable) and sub to sub ln Parallel to 1 ohm.

    10 or 12 gauge

  • whats the excersion

The "X Max " one direction is 15MM / 30MM peek to peek

  • What amplifiers do you recommend for 2 12" GTX124?

    For 2 GTX124 (1 Ohm load) we suggest the E3, BL3, D2400 or P3200 amplifiers.

  • What are the recommended Volume for this subwoofer in a sealed box. Manual gives dual ported numbers but only specs for single sealed subwoofer? Please list all the information provided for the single sealed enclosure but for dual sealed speakers.

Please review our Manual for our factory box specs recommendations. THank you for your Massive Audio support.
