Massive Audio REV84 – Compact Size. Ultra Long Throw. Serious Bass.

The Massive Audio REV84 Ultra Long Throw Subwoofer delivers hard-hitting bass in an 8-inch format. With 800 watts RMS power handling, a 2-inch high-temperature voice coil, and dual 4-ohm voice coils for flexible amplifier matching, it combines substantial power capability with distinctive REV Series styling.

Built for Extended Travel

A spacer between the Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Basket and magnet assembly raises the basket to provide additional clearance for cone and voice-coil movement. This added clearance supports the REV84’s ultra long throw design, providing room for extended travel and air movement for powerful low-frequency output.

The resin-treated, textured non-pressed pulp cone features dual red stitching at the cone-to-surround connection. A custom high-roll foam surround with MASSIVE branding supports cone excursion, while the cast aluminum basket and industrial textured finish provide a rigid, durable foundation.

Flexible pure copper lead wires and woven tinsel leads provide reliable electrical connections throughout the moving assembly.

MIN IDEAL RMS PEAK
400W 600W 800W 1,200W

The REV84 delivers 800 watts RMS power handling for demanding bass applications. Pair it with a properly designed sealed or tuned ported enclosure to get the best combination of output, control, and low-frequency performance. Match your amplifier’s RMS output to the system’s final wired impedance.

Included Removable Wave-Design Grille

The included removable metal grille features a sculpted, wave-shaped profile that adds depth and character while helping protect the cone from accidental contact. Its open design showcases the subwoofer beneath it. Keep the grille installed for a finished, protected appearance, or remove it to display the cone, red stitching, and MASSIVE branding.

Flexible Enclosure Options

Choose sealed or ported performance to suit your installation. Recommended starting points are 0.50 cubic feet sealed or 0.70 cubic feet ported, tuned to 49Hz. Smaller and larger enclosure options are listed below to help you plan your build.
